So I'm taking the sat soon and I was wondering, are there any formulas that I should store in my calculator? I was doing a practice test and forgot a formula for something about a circle when o realized I should just put it in the calculator.

I actually don’t know what the College Board’s official policy is on calculator programs, but assuming they allow them, the biggest time-savers, IMO, are:

-Distance Formula (sqrt((y1-y2)^2 + (x1-x2)^2)))
-Quadratic Formula ((-b +/- sqrt(b^2 - 4ac))/2a))
-Combinations + Permutations (these aren’t necessary to program into your TI-83/84 because they’re already in there, under the “MATH” menu)

Just remember not to go crazy using the programs during the test, because, if you are, chances are you’re making it too complicated!
