I took the SAT may and I got a 1890

I'm taking the October SAT trying to break 2000, but is it wise to sign up for the november SATs just incase I don't do so well?

3 times isn't too many is it? What are the chances of breaking 2000 with a few practice tests over the summer?

i am going to take it in octbr for third time

Or use sparknotes.

cybered, thanks for that link

i’m planning on taking the sat Oct, self studying for the subject tests Nov, and then Dec i’ll retake either i or ii’s (btw any links besides sparknotes for self studying the subject tests?)

i would definitely take them a third time if you feel you can do better, have the time, and already finished the subject tests.

thanks for the link as well, i always get stumped on the grammar, i blank out and answer by ear everytime i take a test

wow. admittedly, i did nothing more than glance at your scores when i posted in the thread. i took a look at them now and you can definitely improve.

you did the best on CR which is supposed to be the most difficult to improve upon
math was good but it’s plausible to do even better
writing is the easiest to improve and i’m sure you’ve worked on it. even just a little studying and review would boost it up. what’d you get and plan to get on the essay?

i scored a 9 on the essay, i plan to do around the same though i’ll try to fill up the pages which supposedly gets you a better score, and other rocket review tips
