Taking the test in March?

For some reason, I always see people talking about taking the SATs in November/October/December.

But I almost NEVER see anyone speak about taking it in March/April/May/June.
Why is this?

I know that people don't take it in May because it's crunch time for AP tests.

But what is wrong with taking it in March?

I ask this because I have plans for taking the test in March and was wondering if there is some huge flaw with doing this.

Thank you all in advance!

People usually procrastinate to those times - like me. June is actually pretty common. And there's difference when you take it, just take the test whenever you are the most prepared.

I remember one year the March date was the opening weekend of spring break around here, so maybe that's a problem.

March is a very popular time to take the SAT. The folks around here skew a little more hardcore, so many want to get a head start with Oct/Nov/Dec. Most students are better off waiting until Mar or May. March has the advantage of not conflicting with Subject Tests, since they are not given in March!
