Taking the US history test without too much prior US history knowledge?

I plan on taking two sat subjet tests this year (in june), math 2 and one other one. However, i dont know what to do for the other one: im deciding between literature and US history. Im not very good at either one right now (pre-study). So is it more reasonable to expect a good score on the lit test after some practice or the US history test after some studying? I didnt take apush, but i know a fair amount about us history. Sorry if this thread was a bit long/confusing, but my question is is it reasonable to expect to learn a lot from studying history, or should i stick to lit?

Check out the US History in a Flash page on Facebook. It has list of key topcis that a student needs to know for the SAT II and you can see if you already know most of them. You can always retake the SAT II if you don’t get the score you want the first time.
