Is it a good idea to take about 11 or more AP classes?

Is it a good idea to take about 11 or more AP classes?

:)

Is this in one school year? If so, that’s insane. If it’s spread over 2 or more years, it’s not that bad. I’ll have taken 10 APs over 2 years, and I’m sure that many CCers have taken much more than 10 or 11 APs. Will these all be taught APs, or are you self-studying some of them?

What year are you?

This year, I’m taking (self studying) 3
Next year about 4?
And senior year about 6?

So 3.67 next year and 6.23 senior year? :P

Yeah, you’ll be fine. I took 10 exams this year and I didn’t die.

That’s fine. I took 9 tests the past year and did fine while getting straight A’s and being really involved in my EC’s.

OMG 9-10 O:

That’s amazing!

Self-studying 3 might be hard. I recommend two unless your trying to do both of the Econs at the same time (in which case 3 might be okay).

4 and 6 in school is perfectly doable.

Hey my teacher recommends me to do Euro instead of world (More help in classroom), so what’s a good prep book for AP Euro?

Crash Course literally contains all the answers to the multiple choice questions on the AP Euro exam.

As for the essays … you are better off reading a textbook :).

AP Achiever. Use Crash Course only after you’ve gone through a real prep book (like AP Achiever).

next year im taking-

ap stat
ap chem
ap bio
ap calc ab
ap lit
ap gov
ap macro
ap physics c

im kinda worried… i’ll let u know hwo the first few weeks go though

Do u guys think I could do ap bio and honors anatomy at the same time?

As well as self studying both psychology AND us history?

Modern European History by Viault. I used this last year, along with AP Achiever and CC, and found it much more useful and detailed than the latter two. It’s pretty much the AMSCO of Euro.

^Warning: it doesn’t have questions, so you might not want to use it as your only prep book.

I found released AP tests to be a more than adequate substitute for questions.
