Yup. The title says it all. I'm going to L.A.

I took it already back in November, but I got 111/120....I'm looking forward to gaining extra 9 points for a perfect score.

I've been in the States for about three years, but I excel in English and also take other tests like the SSAT and SAT. Some schools I applied to required me to take the TOEFL, so I did, but I was disatisfied with the score. So I'm taking it again...for no reason at all!!

Any tips on acing the test? Anyone else taking it? Feel free to discuss.

y exactly do you want to take the test again. 111 is an excellent score.

moreover it wont matter at all if u score even perfect with the IBT toefl.. its just a matter of cut off stuff
though well since u r taking the toefl this friday .. try concentrating the same amt u did last time.. i am sure there is nothing extra needed and a mere 2nd attempt shud get u the best of ur abilities

SM

Hey dude.

Sorry to threadcrap but can you please shed some light on the IBT? How is it? I've been in the US for the past 2 years but I'm taking it just in case.

Thanks

UGH i couldnt take the test because i forgot my ***ing passport!!!! there flies 140 dollars!! and gas!!!!!

wazzup, the IBT basically has reading, listening, speaking, and writing. you can get a practice test free at toefl.org. take that test, practice your pronounciation and writing, and relax. you'll do fine.
