Taking too many classes? I am worried..

Hey guys I was wondering if this fall, I plan on taking Calc 1, English Comp 1, History 1. I know it is only 10 credit hours, but I even worried this alone is too much. I have held up a 3.9 GPA at my community college easily, I am very hard worker and very focused on school. But my main concern is all the reading and writing that seems to be involved in comp and history...Plus we all know calc 1 is a burden in itself.

Please put me at ease, I am pretty sure I will do fine if I do take this, but I just wanted to run this by some other students. Thanks.

You’re going part time so that makes me think you have other stuff going on like a job or something. Those extraneous other things really impact how well you’ll do and how much coursework you can handle.

If you’re only in school and doing nothing else, then those three classes definitely should not be too much.

I took nine classes last semester (18 or 19 hours, can’t remember) and still managed to have a part time job and get a 3.9 for the semester.

Honestly, I don’t see the problem at all. Yes, history and english both require a lot of writing and math is a lot of problem sets, so it will be a good amount of work. But also completely do-able. I took science and math first semester and I didn’t have as much free time as I did second semester, but I never felt like I couldn’t pull off good grades.

you guys are totally right, i am worrying too much again
