Next year I'm gonna be a senior. My school offers a program that allows students to take two classes at a college to get college credits during their senior year. Therefore, next year I'll be taking two college level classes (at the college), 4 AP classes and one Honors. When I send my transcript to the colleges that I'm applying to, I would send two transcripts, one from my school and the other from the college. Would that help or hurt my application?

Sending two transcripts won’t jeopardise your chances. It shows that you’ve taken the most rigorous courses offered by your school; something Colleges want to see.

My son did this in his senior year. His high school listed his university courses/grades on the hs transcript, but he also sent the university transcript separately to the places he was applying.

Since he was applying to the university where he was taking courses, it was definitely a big plus, at least at that one school. He got an excellent letter of recommendation from one of his professors, and it was obvious that he could do the work since he was already doing it. He also enjoyed his undergraduate-level study a lot more than the stuff he was doing in hs, and has some more credits to apply toward graduation. It’s really a win-win.
