I will be entering college as a freshman next year with two years of college credit, so I have room to take courses of my choice in addition to pre-med requirements (I want to be a surgeon). I am interested in pursuing a degree in Russian. I study Russian every day and already have a basic foundation of the language. In addition, I have taken 3 years of Spanish and becoming fluent in Spanish as well as Russian is a goal of mine (I am Latin American and most of my family speaks Spanish.) Therefore I am considering taking Spanish and Russian simultaneously. Both fit in my schedule fine and I have the option of taking Spanish in the evening and Russian in the morning so that I won't confuse the two.
My question is this: Is it doable to learn two languages simultaneously and become fluent in each in a 4-year span? I am going to school on a full-scholarship so I have options to study abroad, which I will probably do after my freshman year (during the summer) and the fall semester of my junior year. Keep in mind that I am a pre-med student.
Thanks

Yes, I realize that this is high school life, but I’m still in high school and I’m seeking advice from other high school students.
