Taking two foreign languages?

I just SIRd for UCLA, majoring in Linguistics with emphasis on East Asian Languages and Cultures. With this major, I plan on going the Modern Chinese route (I do speak the language, just not too well. It’d be good to relearn my mother tongue)
However, I’ve been self studying Russian, and I’m absolutely in love with the language. The linguistics major requires two foreign languages-- one for six terms, one for three. I’m thinking of taking Russian to satisfy the three term requirement, but I really want to take it for all four years (and possibly minor in it). However, it seems that taking both languages seem to require a TON of work, and I’ve never taken any foreign language class in high school, so I’m not sure what to expect. If anyone has any experiences with either of these language classes, or with taking multiple languages at UCLA, or anything for advice, please tell me!!

(PS is it possible to major in Linguistics, minor in Russian AND juggle pre-med along the way? Would I have to resort to taking summer classes? Any insight would be greatly appreciated!!)
