Taking World History SAT II's But I Forgot Most of Material from Freshman Year

My freshman year I was in world history honors. I'm a junior now and I forgot almost all of the details. Is it possible to just study Barron's and still score well without much prior knowledge? I can treat Barron's like a textbook and study it.

why would you take a test on a subject you took 2 years ago when you could choose a subject you're in right now?

i used barrons and got through 3/4 of the book and got a 700 without much prior knowledge but 700 is pretty bad by CC standards

stuff from world history honors wouldn't be enough for the SAT. you have to do quite a bit of studying to get >750.

yea, look over princeton's or barrons.

I recommend barrons cause they have more information (and that's something that'd be useful to you, since you haven't reviewed the topic in a while).

But overall, I say don't take World History unless you have a deep PASSION for it because the SAT II World history is extremely ridiculous; they have much too specific questions.

I thought us was more specific since it's only on 200-ish years of history.
And I heard the curve on World History is sweet. . . anythoughts?

well i;m taking world history because im not that strong in any single subject (with the exception of math) and instead of trying to learn a concept, i can just memorize facts for history.

the curve is becoming more lenient every time since people's scores have consistently stayed low. I think it's now around minus 12-15 for an 800 (as in raw score 76-81 out of 95).
