taking your own language to improve your gpa

Sorry to everyone who read my past posts. I know I was overthinking and probably bothered a few of you but I was just worried. Please take this question seriously.

I heard from my friend that some people take a foreign language course that they know and speak(maybe not read or write) already to enhance their GPA. I wonder if taking my native language, Chinese, to improve my GPA is a good idea. The thing is, I was born in China, moved to the U.S. in 2002, and on my application, I'm going to list my first language as Chinese. I speak Chinese but does not know how to read or write much. Because of my background, is it a good idea to take Chinese to improve my GPA? If I do take the course, it would be 2nd year Chinese out of a 3 year course(non AP).

Thanks much!
