Is there such a thing as talent scholarships offered after MT auditions at IU as there are at a number of other schools? (Not to be confused with academic merit scholarships that are offered when admitted to the school apart from the MT program.)

No, there are not. However, there are grants in junction with the Honors College for artistic living or something like that after college that students can apply for. A senior has received this.

classicalbk…if you are a very good student and Indiana is a safety/likely school for you academically, you can get a significant merit scholarship from admissions. For example, I have had several students apply to Indiana as their safety BA back up school and one got a $16,000 scholarship for four years and others have fared decently in this way if a very good student.

I know you were asking about artistic talent scholarships but the academic ones are not too shabby if a very strong student.
