Hope this doesn't end up in any of your mailboxes. :-)

rofl that is funny

lolololololololololololololololololololololololololololololol THUD (climbs back in chair) whew that was funny.

lol did you make that?

the sad part is, it's true for most colleges.

Well, most of the ones that College Confidential posters apply to. ;-)

P.S: Can anyone identify where I took each picture? (Major bonus points for the airport shot.)

haha yeah, that's what i meant :)

That should totally be your art supplement.

I hope none of the colleges would take it personally! (None of them have an admissions percentage as low as 13, though.)

Still wondering if anyone can identify the locations of the pictures...

Very well done LOL

Great job! I loved the captions, especially. :)

this wasnt stupid.........

That was a dumb attempt at satire. Probably written by some bitter person after they got rejected.

that's tragic. lol.

"That was a dumb attempt at satire. Probably written by some bitter person after they got rejected."

Actually, written by me. :-) Don't worry; I don't claim to be a comedian. But I'm not bitter, either, having gotten into three schools and awaiting letters from all the rest. The "pamphlet" was made to shed a little humor--or none, in your opinion--on the admissions process, and to remind everyone of what really matters in life.

Oh.....darn.

I hope none of the colleges would take it personally! (None of them have an admissions percentage as low as 13, though.)

That's not true. A lot of colleges (HYPSM etc) have admission rates lower than 10%. Harvard's right now for example is 7.1%

He means none of the Colleges he applied to.

I thought it was hysterical! And will be printing it off for S to take to school tomorrow before those ED decisions come out. And yes, if you were applying to Tufts, I would say this is exactly what I would have sent in for their optional essay that said do anything with an 8.5 X 11 paper. Seriously. Well done.
