Something's going on in my life that's no so good...do you think my counselor would mind talking with me for a couple of minutes about it? I know that she's probably busy with transcripts and stuff, so I don't know if this would be bothering her. Any thoughts? Thanks,

If you have confidence in your guidence counselor and trust their advice, I would say to talk to them. They should totally be willing to talk. It should be a break from all the apps for them. Hope that helps.

Do you have to fill in some sort of request form to speak with your counselor? I'm sure there is possibility to communicate that you have a personal problem to deal with and thus, be able to seek help.

any counselor worth her pay will be more than happy to talk to you. im very lucky in this b/c i have amazing priests to always talk to at my catholic school.

i heart priests. when the **** hits the fan, theres no one better to talk to!

Oh yeah, priests are amazing guys to talk to, always makes me feel better to talk to mine!

I've gone with things to my counselor before. Mine's really nice, but if I wasn't A-Go I wouldn't be caught dead down there. Go-O and O-Z are really testy. :-)

Go for it. That's what she's there for.

My school counselor makes me cringe. She's nosy, gets into people's business, tries to be "cool" (uses outdated slang and assumes people are shallow idiots), and is generally impossible to talk to. I'm so glad we have separate university counselors.
