TAMS Class of 2019 Waitlist

Hey ryanwong! I was admitted on the 19th too off the waitlist! I sent a letter of continued interest and updated my transcripts as well. See you next week at Summer O! (also I am taking comp sci instead of bio, which are you taking?)

Congrats TWLAST2019 and cadencet00! I’m taking bio because I’m not really a computer person. If you have a Facebook, there’s a TAMS 2019 group where they gave some study help on the comp sci placement test and some general advice, so you should request to join. I’m excited for Summer O too!!

Hey everyone
I was placed on the waiting list for tams as well and I have yet to find out. Considering that it’s late in July do u think I have even the slightest chance of getting accepted? I have a very strong application and also submitted a letter of continued interest. Some of my other friends who were also waitlisted got accepted but I know for a fact that their applications weren’t as strong as mine. So when I didn’t get accepted it was a bit of a shock. I heard from a friend that Tams did accept some people even as late as July. Do you guys have any thoughts on this ?

Hope you got in. When did you find out?

Hey y’all. I was waitlisted for the class of 2020 and I’m not sure what I can do to improve my chances. If you guys want to know anything about me please let me know. Anything will help. Thanks!

You have a chance! Keep up the great work and apply to safety schools.

hello all,
i was waitlisted for the class of 2020…for those who were waitlisted last year, about how long after you got the waitlist decision did you find out you got in/were declined?

@ria060402 I applied for regular decision, and I was waitlisted for two weeks after acceptances went out. The wait listing process can be from i think a week at best, and in the worst case scenario, you might be accepted during late June/early July even long after Summer Orientation. I don’t think that there’s a notification of rejection for people that were wait listed.

thank you so much!
