Some other things:
I was involved in theatre and participated in a lot of plays. I also was Drama Club officer

Maybe. Too soon to tell. A&M cares about test scores and class rank, so those are the factors you have to work on.

Oh, by TAMS I meant the Texas Academy of Math and Science, not A&M

What is your gpa? TAMS is really competitive and you need a good SAT score. Since you haven’t taken The sat yet, what was you psat score from last year?

I know a person in my class who went to tams two years ago. I don’t believe that wit rank was very high but they had an A gpa.

You have pretty strong qualifications. I don’t know how your SAT scores are but I am pretty sure you have a chance to get an interview for sure! Good Luck :)

My school puts weight on my GPA, so last I checked it was a 105.2. My last PSAT score officially was in 9th grade, about a 176, but I have been improving
@tdkeerthi‌
Thank you!

@tdkeerthi what was your SAT score?

Admission, in my opinion, depends on how much you want to go. You seem well qualified from the information given, just work hard for your SAT and be honest and tell them how passionate you are about TAMS in the interview and you’ll do great!

@therealog Thank you so much!

I imagine your grades are good if you’re rank 4. The TAMS admins say they want to see 650 math, 600 reading, and 600 writing on SAT, so make sure to practice.

@hamolton‌ Thank you! I pretty much already reached that, now I’m just aiming to do better than that.
