TAMU Chances??

I'm applying for colleges, but I REALLY want to get into Texas A&M...

Right now I'm in the top quarter (14%; didn't quite make top 10%). I didn't do great on my SAT... I got a 1540 (including the English section). However, I took the ACT and I think I did well! I got a composite score of 26 with a 32 in English! (Although I only got a 22 in math...) I will have taken 6 AP classes by the time I graduate and I have community service hours from Honor Society, TAFE (Texas Association of Future Educators) and Student Council. I haven't held any positions of leadership, though...

I plan on writing all three essays and sending in my application as soon as I get my writing score for the ACT. (I took it about 2 weeks ago...)

Sorry if this is a lot of information, but I REALLY want to get in... A&M is my dream school.. Can y'all help me figure out more or less what my chances are?

Thank y'all so much!

I had a cousin who got in with worse test scores and rank but college admissions are all chance…. at least to me.

There’s still time to start a club or hold a position of responsibility, I think doing so will greatly boost your ECs and thus your chances. If all officer positions are filled, start a study/tutoring club for one or many subjects you are interested in. This way you will have shown initiative to start something new and can list it as a leadership role.
