Are the departmental scholarships released??
@Zepodes One parent so far has seen it (see my other post), but so far, that’s all we’ve heard. Hoping they are rolling them out gradually!!!
@rvhappynow Ohh, yeah,fingers crossed (saw in a few other threads that they are giving it out in the mid march).
Any international students here who have received any scholarships?

One doubt guys, how to access tamu email, i am totally clueless.
@Zepodes My son set up his own email, and he’s gone right now, but I believe you do it through your Howdy site. Log in there and see if you can access your email there. We use the Google app for easier access, but I believe you start with Howdy. I’ll ask him when I see him later today.
Son set up his email through google as well and also got it sent to his phone without issue. Try this link and see if it is helpful. http://google.tamu.edu/ If you have already tried this link and it is not working still for you, try the link through the A&M IT Helpdesk and if that doesn’t work, give them a shout Monday. https://hdc.tamu.edu/
You can also google Aggie Account Gateway. Login and you will see your e-mail settings. On Howdy, there is an e-mail icon at the top of the home page.
I tried linking up my gmail account, but it said that I am ineligible for enabling the forward option.
@kaydeeloo I don’t see an email icon in the top of my howdy portal, there is only a back option and a home icon.
@Zepodes Contact the help desk https://hdc.tamu.edu/ They are open 24 hours a day by email, phone or chat and in person until midnight. On the page I gave the link to, if you scroll to the bottom, it has Featured Articles about setting up your TAMU email and setting up your email on your ISO device. Help Desk Central will be able to help you much more than we can on CC, as they can walk you through it in real time with your devices. If there is an issue, they are the ones to help you, even when you come to campus!!

We attended the Engineering at Galveston Day last Thursday. The program exceeded our expectations and my son is definitely considering it. His twin went with us and he really liked it to (almost to the point he’d like to see if he can go there first year instead of CStat). We met several students and families that are a lot like us. Even one family with twins, with one accepted to CStat and one accepted to Engineering at Galveston. I will post more details later, and I’ll email to see if I can get the powerpoint.

Thelma: When will TAMU have the statistics on how many applications, offers of admissions (full/Gateway/Blinn-Team(s)/PSA and denials, and also all of the other admission stats? I’m just really curious as to the numbers for this year.
