do you know how you got your decision so early?
I found out early likely because I was an academic admit. I uploaded my transcript the same day I received my login information and they accepted it the next day and informed me that I was admitted.

Probably because your friend is in the first quarter, and you are in the second quarter. It looks like you are admitted so that’s awesome!
Guys, should I be freaking out yet? I applied to and was accepted on September 20th (before the engineering early admissions deadline) to TAMU. I have not yet, however, received word on whether or not I have been accepted into the college of engineering. My ACT Composite score was 32, my SAT (new) score was 1460, I have taken numerous AP classes (including Physics) and am taking several AP classes this year (most important of which are Calculus BC and Physics C). Also I am in the top 2.5% of my class. I’m just concerned that I haven’t been told one way or another yet, and I’m just becoming concerned as I know decisions are made on a rolling basis and the deadline for early admissions announcements (mid-Dec.) is approaching quickly. BTW, my two majors were Computer Engineering and Computer Science.
@pmag21 - don’t worry. Your stats are good and you will get in. My son with top 8% with 32 ACT got admitted to CS.
