TAMU Class of 2022 - Admissions Decisions

Do you think decisions will go out this week?

@Trommald There is no way to know. No one knows if the extended application deadline has any effect on decisions. The majority of engineering decisions were out by Jan 24 last year. There was a trickling of decisions in Jan for review admits for all other majors but the majority began Feb 6-17, with some still trickling out in March.

Understand, that the above is from just those who posted their decisions here on CC. Outside of this, I have no info for.

I guess we will know when it will happen when it happens.

What do You think my chances are of getting in?

@whoop2022 @NNat45
For the review applicants with similar stats from last year, they did not receive a decision until February 14-17 and included full admit, blinn team and PSA. All three of those admissions decision had applicants with similar stats.

@Thelma2 thank you for the info!

You’re welcome @NNat45 though it is not the answer you likely were looking for. It is just impossible to chance review applicants, as there is a lot more considered besides your class rank and test scores.
Stick around and let us know your decision.

For people who got into Mays business honors what were your stats?

My son got Gateway Admission last year on February 3rd,
He was review, 2nd quarter assigned (private school did not rank), 1100 SAT, 24 ACT, only 1 AP class
He did have 660 service hours and a lot of varsity sports (and I prayed for him a ton):slight_smile:
Good luck to all of you that want to be Aggies!:slight_smile:

@aggie88 Thanks for posting! You mentioned your son got Gateway admission, does that mean he was given the option for Blinn or Galveston? I’m so confused by the options given by A&M.

@GManmom123 gateway means you go to A&M in the summer and take a class or two and if you make a certain GPA, you are admitted in the fall as a full time student. There is also Blinn Team where you are co-enrolled and there is engineering academy at Blinn or Galveston. It is sort of confusing but kudos to A&M for the many paths as it really helps kids.

Hi there! My daughter received her updated transcript. She went from 10.5% to 9.5% and increased her GPA. Should she send it and a letter explaining why it increased to Admissions?

Howdy! Does anyone know when do we receive our financial aid/ scholarships??
