TAMU Living

About a month ago I visited Callaway House in College Station and loved it! Can anyone tell my about any experiences or talk they have heard of this off campus living. And, if you know of any other great living places around campus please tell me about it.

My daughter lived in Callaway house 2009-2010. She loved some aspects of it - others were not so good. The place is well kept, and very nice. She lived in the 4 bedroom 2 bath style room.
The location is great, easy to walk to campus - or catch a shuttle bus. However, when you are trying to drive to Callaway house - it can be very hard to turn left to get to Callaway house. It is just the way the traffic flow is, wiht the left turn light into Callaway - people turning onto George Bush from the street just ahead of the left turn lane tend to block the intersection. You usually have to wait through several lights before you can actually get into the driveway.
If anyone important is scheduled to be at the Bush library - that entire end of George Bush Blvd is shut down… Happened a couple of times when she lived there. Just inconvenient.
The food gets boring - but that is probably true on any meal plan - and you have to buy a meal plan to live there.
There are very few parking slots for guest.
If you have any direct questions - just ask.
