Yes. You can click on the offer and that does NOT mean you have accepted it. You are not committed until you do a few more steps. You are allowed to check out all the details.

Daughter thought she wanted to do vet school and had applied as BIMS or BIOL and got PSA in 2019. She met with advisors in CSTAT and mapped out the PSA under Wildlife & Fisheries as the core curriculum was similar and would be an easy transfer into BIMS and approved PSA route by her advisor. Explore all options to get to A&M if her heart is in being an Aggie. She chose West Texas A&M, which now features the new A&M Vet School. WTAMU has a high admissions rate into A&M vet school, so it’s an awesome place to be for pre-vet major. You just have to be a little creative in finding the right PSA curriculum plan to match. Daughter knocked out her 2 semesters (actually 1.5 due to Covid) and easily rolled into CStat for her 3rd semester. PSA was a blessing. West Texas A&M is far from Houston but the community is wonderful and campus is friendly, much like College Station and minutes from the gorgeous Palo Duro Canyon. She liked her small classes, dorms are nice, they have a new football stadium, and their colors are maroon and white, and the university is safe. She developed awesome friendships. It was a win win. She is currently a junior bio-environmental sciences major and happy. She changed her mind on vet school once she was at A&M… it just wasn’t her end goal anymore. Hope this helps. Her heart was to be an Aggie and this was the fastest easiest route. Take advantage of the option.

Howdy! Thought it a good time to revive this thread as the Class of 2026 members who took PSA last year are gearing up for transfer to TAMU. I did mines at Corpus, and finished strong with a 3.8 gpa! Now, just waiting for spring grades to officially post to have the final transcript sent to TAMU!

Thank you! My final grades were sent electronically today to TAMU. Not sure how long it takes for admittance, but I’ll post back here when I get it.

Thank you! I’m super excited!

I’m a high school senior graduating in 2024, and I’m interested in pursuing an Economics degree at TAMU College Station through the PSA program. I completed Dual Credit English courses with a B in 1301 and a C in 1302. Does this affect my eligibility for auto-admit transfer? Can I retake the courses if needed? Am I already out??

@ok111 PSA is considered a ‘soft rejection’ (by most), and it’s only offered by A&M…you can’t apply for PSA.

For PSA, assuming you don’t get full admission or team, only your courses at a Tamu system school post high school graduation count towards automatic transfer.
