My DS is hoping for the University Honors program in fall of 2014. During NSI he also heard about the Cornerstone program. I think he prefers to be in university honors if he can get in. If he doesn't ,does anyone know how to apply for Cornerstone or have any experience with it? Can someone do both? If so, would they live?

Howdy 93plan!

It is possible to do both Cornerstone and University Honors, so long as your student chooses to live in Honors housing (Cornerstone does not require students to live in their community, but we do). Admission to Cornerstone is by invitation. You can find contact information and more details at [Cornerstone Program Learning Community](http://cornerstoneprogram.tamu.edu/eligibility.htm).

Hope this helps!

I’ve created another thread with information about the application process for the University Honors Program along with relevant dates:
