Tansfer from CAS to AEM

I’m currently a freshman at Cornell (class of 2019) studying economics in CAS. However, I’m now really interested in AEM… I would like to transfer… W

Questions:

  1. Is it difficult to transfer?
  2. When could I tansfer?
  3. When should I transfer?

According to their website, it is very competitive, and you can only internally transfer at the end of your freshman spring semester. There are also admissions requirements, including courses you have to complete to be considered (although even meeting all these requirements will not ensure you get accepted). From what I’ve heard, internally transferring to AEM is very difficult.
