I just received an email about applying for the TAP scholarship at UCLA...does this mean I got in?

yeah i think so, do you see any updates on your ursa?

im too scared to check…initially i wanted to wait for my decision to come in the mail instead of checking online. but i got this email and it got me excited…

yea i’m pretty sure your in. This is what it says on the TAP website. “All students who apply for Fall 2010 admission and have been accepted are e-mailed a 2010-11 TAP scholarship application”. Your ursa should have two columns if you check.

So you haven’t checked for your decision online at all?

I got accepted on Wednesday and got that e-mail 15 minutes ago so chances are u r in.

…you have some crazy patience!

What is the TAP scholarship? I did the TAP program and I did not receive an email.

I got the email while in class! I’m super excited!

The TAP scholarship is based on financial need so there may be TAP certified students who don’t recieve the email because it’s geared for students who need the $5,000! But wow, only 38 students will get it?! That’s crazy! Good luck to everyone applying^^

Ahhh, I’m excited too. $5000 will help so much.

Thanks for posting the link!

I just got that email today about the scholarship oppurtunity, does that mean i was accepted? i haven’t heard anything yet from UCLA officially but on the link posted above it says that all accepted students are emailed a scholarship letter. Should I get my hopes up or is this just a formality?

did you check the decisions page and/or your ursa?

no i haven’t checked that, i thought we were informed of admissions via email?

I didn’t get an email, and I’m sure not a lot of other people did, and we got accepted. Check! You can also check the admissions decisions page!

from what i understand from the email, they’re only selecting 38 people ;
