Does anyone have the measurements for the desk chair in RCS-N? Trying to decide between no chair cover, buying a cover or whipping one out on the old Singer machine…

I got a new desk chair because I couldn’t deal with the one provided. It was a great move, worth every penny of the 50 bucks it cost. If you keep the little hex tool it most likely will come with, you can dismantle it and put it in storage at the end of the year.

@ Class of 2012 mom…what is the clearance under the desk? are you sure this chair will fit? seems like a great deal, may have to get S one of these :)

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but my daughter wants a new chair also We are not sure what we would do with the existing chair. Can we give it back to housing?

“Effortless 1-touch seat-height adjustment” - so you can make it as high or low as needed. I didn’t measure the desk clearance (but I could when we move in if it would be helpful)

As for moving the provided chair out of the room, IIRC all provided furniture must be kept in the dorm room. Maybe it can be bungee-corded to the bottom of the bed or tucked away somehow else.

Sorry I wasn’t clear in my question, what I was trying to ask is if it would fit under due to it’s width not height… do you know the chair dimensions with or without its arms compared to the width of the opening for the chair?

The desk is 25 3/4" from side to side total (the whole desk, not just the opening).

The chair says
Backrest Dimensions 19" W x 21-1/2" H
Overall Dimensions 25-1/2" W x 27-1/2" D x 40" H
Seat Dimensions 19" W x 18" D

I have a photo of a chair and desk in the dorm and even from this clear shot it’s hard to see how wide the walls of the desk are. I would guess it’s not going to push all the way under but that’s only a guess.

I am celebrating the opportunities for my son, the new friends he and I have made and the fact that my guest bathroom will stay company clean while he’s away!
