If he’s looking for small/d3 mainly to keep running, he might want to look at the running clubs at larger D1 schools. Quite a few D3 caliber runners end up at those schools and join the running clubs. That would open up more options especially with CS as the academic focus.

The question is whether this student is drawn to LAC’s because of D3 running, or if he would prefer the LAC experience irrespective of running.
