Tasp 2007

Ellen DeGeneres is hosting. Blah.

Not to go off topic (:D), but my teacher said that she got a postcard saying that they'd received my application today :)

I got my application confirmed on January 28th ~noon. :)

Yayy for us :)

Mine has been confirmed as well :D. Now it's just a waiting game.

twiddles thumbs, among other idle attempts to while away the time

To those of you that received confirmations on your applications - how was it communicated to you (to you directly, to a teacher, etc.)?

My teacher got a postcard. She included a self-addressed, stamped postcard with her letter of rec.

I haven't gotten confirmation.

But my teacher didn't include a self-addressed, stamped postcard.

I wonder if they'll email me or something? Although I did send my app out on Jan. 22...

Log into your account on the application server and you should be able to see whether your application has been confirmed or not!

OH MY GOD.

I was just reading over my essays and I realized that I wrote "15th century" instead of "fifteen hundreds"! And not once but twice! One of said times was in conjunction with the reign of the Tudor and Stuart families!

Oh my god. This is going to ruin my essays. I'm panicking here, does anybody have an idea of how this will affect my app? Eeeeeeeeeeehhhhcckkk..... >_>;;;;;

DOnt worry

:D

Finals Done! :)

i just checked on the usps website (for confirmation of receipt). they don't notify you when they receive your app, but they do send a postcard (if your teacher enclosed one) to your teacher once they receive the rec.

Don't worry Iris, you are not alone. I have a few of those as well (I spelt Dostoevsky as Dosteovsky). If TASP is the program I think it is, they'll be able to look past a few tiny errors, HOPEFULLY! It's too late to change anything anyway...

I spelled the word "messaging" as "messenging." Most people have at least one typo I believe.

If the content's good, you're good.

yeah, don't worry about it. i made a handful of grammatical mistakes and a couple of typo's, including leaving out various words at random... lol.

Yeah, I asked my english teacher about it and he said it wasn't a big deal. My spanish teacher, however, all but called me a fool. sigh

Thank you for making me feel less stupid. =D

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows comes out right in the middle of TASP!

This is two of them in a row that I'd have to buy in another state. ;P

^lol, someones feeling confident!

Indeed! haha
