<p>P.S. I took the SAT yesterday too. Too bad I was sniffling and sneezing and runny-nose-ing throughout the entire thing. I got to section six with a headache. I'm such a good test-taker. :'(</p>

<p>Wow, what a huge thread - I just stumbled upon it, as I rarely visit the College Confidential boards. I guess this really was "the" summer program for rising seniors to apply to. Well, I applied to TASP and received my letter of rejection a few days ago. The letter said that they do not provide reasons for rejection - but I sent them a polite email asking them to explain anyways :). My essays/teacher recommendations must have really made a terrible impression, as my academic credentials (238 PSAT, tons of honors and AP courses) and book list were pretty stellar IMO.</p>
<p>Now I gotta convice my parents to pay for the Wash U Summer School... unless I find something else for free on this summer program board.</p>

<p>and yeah it's all about the essays, they don't really consider your transcript/psat score at all</p>
<p>Get over yourself, Amwidkle. It's all in the essays. TASP Committee really could not care less how many AP courses you've taken (unless you immigrated to the US at 14 speaking no English or something).</p>
<p>Yes. I think most of the other stuff is just to back up your essays...make sure you're not a slacker and whatnot...</p>

<p>AMWIDKLE: If your looking for free programs check out Carnegie Mellon summerprograms for diversity. It is the same program as their normal summer programs but they are free. :)</p>

I just got the University expansion pack for the sims 2 so I've been making my sims get on the Dean's List all day. Now if I can force myself to study once maybe I can do the same.</p>

<p>GOD! I WAS SO ADDICTED! After Unleashed came out, my obsession dwindled down. I always cheated with the rosebud code and I kept making them fight, creating that huge cloud. Oh! And having sex on the Vibromatic heart bed. It was so amusing!</p>
