@dreamsofbrown not too sure, but I would imagine each essay should be able to stand by itself, so if the background info is highly important for both, I would include it.

I’m hardcore pretending that I’m not freaking out because my essay #2 is a bit of a mess and my #1 is not in existence atm. I’m literally counting down the hours in trepidation.
Don’t be like me guys I’m a mental wreck right now. I hope if any TASP 2018’ers read this thread that’s what they’ll take away from this.

@perksof1975 I actually thought I was going to get my essays done over Winter Break, I definitely overestimated my personal motivation.

I wonder how many of the 1,000 Applicants procrastinated for this. I wonder how many of the non-procrastinators got in vs. those who did procrastinate.

@candylover1005 Sit down and brainstorm. Where have you learned lessons? How have they helped you? In school? Outside? Sports? Unique things?
@candylover1005 I wrote (or am writing lol) about the change in the education after moving to a different country. The education system and just educational values? are so different here so I have a lot to write about how that’s affected me. I’m also writing about informal life lessons, just things I’ve learned from experiences with people, for example one of my teachers. I think they’re just looking for how you’ve grown as a person from education both formal and informal, since they want diverse people from diverse backgrounds? hope this helps haha
