<p>The essay topics for TASP are extremely open ended, as you may have heard. I can’t say for sure that the topics are the same this year, but I doubt they will change. I have to say you are starting wayyy too early, but do what you will.</p>
<ol>
<li>Literary analysis of a book you read independently </li>
<li>Topic of choice (write about whatever you want)</li>
<li>Write about a conflict of some kind that you have faced/resolved </li>
<li>Future plans</li>
<li>Rank the seminars and justify your ranking</li>
</ol>

<p>Is there a limit to how much you can write for each one?</p>
<p>Yes, two pages single spaced. Obviously these are not particularly constraining limits, and that is nice.</p>
