Apparently I got my TASP decision yesterday, it was just on a different page in my mailbox thanks to all that spam. :] At this point though, I don't know if I'll be attending. Half of my heart is pulling me one way, but going that way would mean tearing the other part away from it. I'd love to meet all of you (which is right now limited to vegangirl seeing as how she's the only other CCer at WashU), and I've been aching for those midnight politics/current events/hammocking events/4th of July celebration/watergun fights and everything else for the whole of 2006. Then again, though, at heart, I'm a science and math geek and I had all my summer plans lined up all ready to pursue my passions in that and raise a few more thousand dollars for my charity. Agh. But I know I'm incredibly blessed to be in this conundrum. Congrats to all of you guys. :] Having been a part of this pro-TASPer family for so long, it would break my heart to leave it.

Congratulations to all you new TASPers! I hope you guys have as a great a time as I did :).

finale, which TASP did you attend? and are you now at the prestigious institution known as Harvard University?

Ooh, decisions are out.

Congratulations to all '06 TASPers!

bravos89... do you know Emily, who went to UMich last year?

Oh wow, Harvard over Huntsman? I would totally take the Huntsman offer, finale!

Jsn88

Yes indeedy I know Emily. It seems that our little town of Auburn is getting good representation at UMich TASP for some reason.

so far, CCers have a 16% accept rate. Not bad, not bad....

"Shall I compare thee [TASP] to a summer's day? Thou art more lovely and more temperate ... But thy eternal summer [AT CORNELL] shall never fade."

^ Nice. :D

Its shakespeare by the way, I don't want to get in trouble for breaking that copyright law thingy, "®" as they call it.

How did you figure the 16% ratio?

^ 13/86, I think.

Haha, I know. I don't know much about classic lit, but I'm not that ignorant =P

yep, 13/86.

I suppose I don't count? :]

Sorry! Make that 14/86.

Does anyone else have facebook (esp. Cornell TASPers)?

Is that you?

and what do they mean by "POKE HER!"

I went to Cornell (I love that school!). I chose Harvard over Oxford because I didn't really believe in the education system, although they're both excellent universities. The Huntsman Program is great, but Penn didn't offer me as much financial aid as Harvard did.
