How about this:

Everyone who is accepted list your name, the program you'll be attending, and your screen name. It would be neat to get in touch with people who you'll be spending the bulk of your summer with.

guys watch it with your real names even posting this roster, keep in mind that this is a public forum and ANYONE can see it

Oh, well, no email for me. I guess I didn't get in. I kinda figured I didn't as I don't think me and my interviewers agreed on a single thing (and some of my beliefs may have inadertantly threatened their career choices...but those are my ideologies).

Anyway, I'm the first kid from my school EVER to get anywhere close to a high enough PSAT to get invited, much more make it to the interviews.

Have fun, guys.

No email for me. but I'm glad I got to the finalist round. :)

good job, everyone!

Junetorbati! I got in to Austin too! sparkle sparkle I guess I'll see you there ^^ I'm usually a black-clad anomaly (you know, gothish), and getting in to TASP lost me a bet... I got the acceptance email this morning, so I'm wearing hot pink today ^^ Congrats to everyone else who got in...

Inkling i don't think that was the reason, my interviewers were the same, as were everyone's. One of my interviewers was somewhat disrespectful and mocking saying "what's wrong with three women getting married" when I said gay marriage might lead to other things. Personally I think they were inferred to attack all my opinoins inferred from the essay, end in end, they couldn't tackle me, even though I couldn't prove their views wrong, I did manage to succesfully debate and answer the interviewers' questions

UT Austin - June (yeggypeggy)

i called this morning and i got in! wash u, woo hoo!

U Michigan - Sophie (Barefootsoph)

I am BEYOND ecstatic. I am unhealthily happy. I'm already planning the rest of my TASP-charged life: Telluride House, Factotum position, admission committee, here the hell I commmmmmme!

Michigan kids, aren't you sweating out your eyes with excitement? We get to see free concerts. We get to live in the Telluride house. WE GET TO LIVE IN THE TELLURIDE HOUSE. We do, right? And best of all we get to MEET EACH OTHER!

Now I'm going to look up Michigan on the map. I feel like I should know which coast it's on...

congratulations, TASPERS!! lots of love to the cornell kids, especially-- the telluride house is an amazing place.

saurus -

Could I have your screen name, please?

sure. my sn is moxiepoxiedeux.

Claret CONGRATS...I got in also, my first choice Cornell II. I guess our interviews were pretty good after all. Pretty cool...I guess I want be playing baseball this summer :-(

Top Five Reasons why Austin's going to kick all the other TASPs' butts:

1) Austin is insanely liberal (at least that's a good thing from my point of view)
2) Austin's nothing like the rest of Texas.
3) Austin's the most environmentally conscious city in the U.S.
4) The Pixies are playing Austin City Limits on September 18 (Not during TASP, but freaking sweet all the same)
5) Hellooooo! Its' nickname is 'Live Music Capital of the U.S.A'!!!

Congratulations to everybody!

I'm so excited!!!!!!

And wow, collegeconfidential seems to have a very nice acceptance rate.

Is anyone else attending Cornell I?

Gcangel, about CC's acceptance rate thing, there could be 2 reasons:

1) The people who didn't make it haven't been notified yet and so they don't know. Even if they did, I'm not sure they'd post as eagerly as those who received good news from TASP.

2) People who went to the length of CCing something like TASP are probably more interested as it is. Which can, I'm guessing, only be a plus.

Aparicio congrats to you too! We'll both have an absolutely amazing time.

Hi,
My name is Nan, I'm a student at The Lawrenceville School in New Jersey, and I have been a frequent, though silent, observer on the TASP message boards these past few months. I just found out that I got into the Cornell II War and Terror program, and thought that I'd take this chance to meet some other TASPers before we convene in gorgeous Ithaca. My email is nytenymph12@yahoo.com and my myspace is www.myspace.com/nannisia. So, if you'll also be at Cornell, please drop me a note and brighten my day in the middle of this dismal AP week!
Congratulations to everyone...I'm so excited : )
