<p>I've finished the first two, and now I'm working on the third (critical analysis). I'm gonna do an e.e. cummings poem. </p>

<p>I DON'T FEEL LIKE WRITING ANY MORE OF THESE ESSAYS. </p>

<p>I'm afraid of sounding like a snob, or sounding boring, or sounding obnoxious; I'm just trying to be as honest as possible. And I should be studying for my midterms I have this week.</p>

I too have finals all this week, and 2 days to write 4 essays. <em>death</em> </p>

<p>Does 'postmarked by Jan. 24th' mean you can send them out on Jan. 24?</p>

My counselor is being a bitch though and sayin' she wants to send out the envelope on friday cos she doesn't want me handling the envelope with my transcripts a nd the envelope with my recommendations. But I want saturday to work on my essays, and would feel more comfortable putting together the envelope myself.</p>

<p>...weird...maybe she's worried that it won't get there in time? o_O I haven't talked to my counseor yet...I have my teacher rec and I'll go get my transcript tomorrow, and send out everything myself.</p>

<p>What are you guys writing your "problem" essays on? I'm worried the problem I'm approaching may be a little too esoteric and specific.</p>

<p>When the instruction ask you to "Number the pages of your essays," does it mean one set of numbers for all six essays or just for one essay?</p>

<p>mm I'm including them all together... meaning that page 2 might include the end of essay 1 and the beginning of essay 2, so I just number everything</p>

<p>BTW, it just needs to be postmarked by the 26th... I gotta finish everything by tomorrow though, I'm leaving for THIMUN :D</p>

<p>It's a little disheartening when you look at your essays - and cringe - and look at the TASP acceptance rate - and cringe some more.</p>

First, your essay does not need to be on a topic that sounds like it was written by someone lecturing at Cornell's School for critcism and theory graduate summer program. It just needs to be coherent and show some intellect. You wow noone by knowing what 'deictic' means or postulating a balance between post-colonialism and husserlian structuralist theory (note, i didn't reflect on those composites).
Also, WHO CARES about how your page is numbered? Not the people reading your app. Just make it intuitive and simple! K.I.S.S.</p>
