<p>There were 850 applicants to TASP this year, I'm not sure where 1000 came from. There are many international students, albiet the majority are from the US (obviously.) At U Mich there were two out of 18, and I understand that there were similar numbers at the other four, so roughly 10 out of 80 were international. Does that help?</p>
<p>Speaking as a TASPer from overseas, the answer is that international applicants DO use the same application, although the interview may be via phone - as mine was - and thus perhaps less intense than a face-to-face grill session. </p>
<p>And I'm curious, pianoking, where did you get the information about the international TASPer population of the other TASPs from?</p>
