I got a card on which it is written that You are invited to apply for the TASP six-week summer program for high school juniors.
Did you get such a card? What does it mean.

I got one to Cornell's summer school. I didn't do anything unfortunately.

?????????????????

did u take the PSATs? its a summer program, and they send out invitations based on high PSAT scores.

the program itself is very prestigious, you should try if you can.

oOStarGazerOo, thank you.
yes, I have a good PSAT score (234). Is getting in the program very difficult?

yeah you have to write a bunch of essays to apply. then after the 1st round of selection, they reject some and take some for interview, then after the interview they make decisions.

thank you very much.

Did other people accept TASP card or letter?

Look into it. I hear it's a big thing, honored by admissions.

There have been numerous discussions about TASP--the most recent one here http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/showthread.php?t=103089

As an applicant, you have to write 6 essays.
My God!

It's for a fully-funded 6-week program.

I know tellurider is a TASPer.
May you tell me something as an internatinal applicant?
thank you in advance.

i want to get it, but .....

Is it harder to get in as an international student??
