<p>Editor-in-chief of school paper (11) and features writer (12)--I couldn't be in the newspaper class this year, but I continue to participate outside of school, a fact I mentioned on my app.</p>

<p>Speech/Debate Team Leader</p>

<p>Comm Service--served on various community action committees, including one that planned a conference for youth speakers and politicians. Worked 45 hours sophomore and junior years hosting a speech tournament attended by thousands of students. </p>

<p>Telluride Association Summer Program--highly selective humanities summer program (9% acceptance rate) My professor wrote an additional rec.</p>

<p>Essays and rec letters are really good. I visited Yale last week and had an interview. I thought it went pretty well.</p>

<p>yeah, blurblurblur, you're completley right. I've posted this on like ten different forums. I'm just going through a major doubting-my-qualifications-for-yale crisis. Ugh I'm so weak.</p>

<p>Anyway, you're right, I should stop posting. It's not going to do anything. I really need to cut myself off from cc until decisions are in. Otherwise I'm just gonna keep worrying, and there's nothing I can do until December.</p>
