I was accepted too–can’t wait for the interview! Congrats for everyone who made it and good job to anyone who didn’t make it.
Didn’t make it, but congratulations to everyone who did!
Sorry for those who didn’t advance to the next round. Just wondering what the rejection letter looks like.
Guys I’m nervous about the interview. I’ve never even been interviewed before in my life! Is anyone else nervous or has tips???
I’m so happy I got accepted as a finalist I had to check this website to make sure I wasn’t dreaming or it wasn’t a spam lol but sorry to the people that didn’t get accepted i hope you apply for tasp next year with me
i never been to an interview before either but i hope for the best
I can’t wait for the interview. Time is going by way too slow. I have a good feeling about this…
Just got my email about being selected as a finalist! Does anyone know how many people are selected for interviews?
You just found out today? @mh2018
And out of I think 1,200 applicants, only about 140 get chosen for interviews.
Just read the email today lol
Just to keep conversation going till we hear more about the interviews, how did you guys hear about TASS and why do you want to go?
I found TASS on my own last year when browsing the internet for free programs. When I read about it , I instantly fell in love with it. I want to go primarily to experience life outside my comfort zone and learn more about African American Studies while being given rigorous assignments in order to test my mental stability and how hard I am willing to work as a student.
Wait I never got an email? I sent in my application on time and everything. Who should I cobtact about that?
You should first check your spam or promotions. I know that my email wasn’t in my primary tab. It was in my promotions tab which is kinda weird but whatever. If you still don’t find it there, just call the Telluride Association Office at (607) 273-5011 to ask about the status of your application. @Brownnnnnnn Good Luck!
I found out about TASS through my school . I want to attend because this program lets me express how I feel with other people and I get to hear more than one view on the subject . At school I cant have these type of serious conversation and I believe at TASS I can and I will get a better understanding of African American studies. I also believe that at TASS I will be brought out of my comfort zone. In class when we discuss African American Studies people don’t take me serious they think that I’m mad but I’m not I just have a passion for African American rights women rights and equal rights.@Intelligent08 what was your first choice mine was Michigan. I chose Cornell II as my second Indiana as my third and Cornell I as my last
@zaniahb I chose cornell I, cornell II, Michigan, and Indiana last.
@zaniahb Your choices are in the opposite order of mine.
So when are we going to be contacted for our interviews
Well, the email said within a month. But since interviews begin in mid-march, they’ll probably contact us this week or next week the latest. @zaniahb
