Tattoos and Piercings: Acceptable or Not?

I am “free” to get this piercing and/or tattoo.

I understand I’m not an “independent adult”. It’s not that hard to understand. I only pay for my gas, snacks, and entertainment. That’s far from independent.

No. If I wanted to be bold and brash I’d date a 40 year old. That’s a lot less permanent than a piercing or tattoo. I’m an genuinely interested in this piercing and tattoo.

uc asked me about my college expenses. My college expenses are set. Tuition. Housing. Meal plans. Fees. Study abroad. They’re set. As for non education related expenses, yes, I do know what those are. I know what needs to be budgeted and how to budget.

Yes, I have thought of getting an engraving, but I’ve also thought about a tattoo. Just something that I’d see.

Thank you again, everyone for the advice and warnings. They do make a difference.

I got a tattoo last year and its ok, i kind of forget i have it until people notice it. It’s really not all its hyped up to be even though I feel like everyone got a tattoo the summer they went to college.
If you really want it, just get it somewhere it wouldnt show in a dress or in buisness clothes. Dont women wear buisness suits now anyway?
Anyway, Arms are a no-no(I got mine under my bicep).

Why don’t you instead spend the money on something fun like a road trip with some friends?

I know you’re at that stage in life where you need to make your own mistakes to learn, but try and take our advice here - don’t get tattoos. And if you do get them, at the very least, make sure you can hide them under your work clothes.
