Tattoos

I’m just posing an argument. (I like to argue! :D) I’m a pretty cautious person, actually. Thinking about my future is everything to me.

Tramp stamps make me sick. On a female, I think ankle, wrist and hip bone are pretty awesome (hip bone only if you are skinny). Upper back, maybe.

a few things about mine
it is not a tramp stamp. it is a simple bumble bee with the quote “l’essentiel est invisible pour les yeux” or “what is essential is invisible to the eye” its from the little prince-a book that has literally changed my life.

2-i do not plan on having children but even if i do, i don’t understand how that would lead to regret on the tattoo…my mother has 6 tattoos and i think they are awesome, my father has two. Both are in their forties and neither regret them

3-I don’t think we should always live in the moment, but they way i look at life is that I have today, anything beyond that is unknown. This tattoo has made me happy since the moment i got it. Who knows if i will live to regret it. I could get hit by a bus tomorrow.

4-Tattoos aren’t for everyone. If you don’t like it, that’s okay. No one is making you get one. Mine is in a spot that , unless i told you, you would never know i had one. But i do show it off because i LOVE it

I’m against tats for all the same reasons as wieters. They are definitely a turn off. I have a friend who’s this goodie two shoes type, and she’s going to get a tattoo. I’m always arguing with her about it (not sure why I care so much)

A little side note for wieters. Camden Yards is the best. ballpark. ever. I’m not even an O’s fan, but they hold a special place in my heart just because I love going to games there. It’s my favorite park, and I’ve been to quite a few around the country.

Not the biggest fan, but if you get one, you better make sure that you really want it.

i want to get one on the top of my left foot, a lotus flower because they float on the surface of the mud[symbolism], and weave in a peace sign, cross and dove into it-i however find those giant blue/black tattoos horrendously gross, at least make it colorful

I want to be a neurosurgeon one day and unless i show up in an interview wearing a skirt and heels or flip flops, i dont think anyone will notice-plus there are stockings i can wear if worse comes to worse

I’m down with tats with meaning, sans people’s names. Nothing says tacky like that.

I love quotes on the body. Mmm. I want to get “It’s real for us” on me somewhere.

Snape/Lily? Ohyes.<3

I don’t like bold people.

I disagree with Sapphire. I think black ones look better than colored.

wietersway, nice name. I doubt anyone else on this site understands the meaning.

Depends on what I do a tattoo can actually disqualify you for certain jobs and promotions. Some branches of the military are even tough about promotions if you have a tattoo. Me Im border line if I get something it will have deep meaning to it not just one off the wall of the parlor it will be hand drawn by me.

“wietersway, nice name. I doubt anyone else on this site understands the meaning.”

(Raises hand)

this is why i complemented camden yards

baseball? anyways, black ones end up looking dark green and grungy

Yeah, I saw that after I posted. My sincere congratulations for not being a huge nerd.

I assume it has something to do with Baltimore

haha. im almost so into sports its nerdy. not quite, but almost.

For instance, I know who Dionte Christmas is. Who knows that?

Of course, I do live sort of in the Philly area, but still…nobody follows Temple basketball

Super prospect for the Orioles who was recently called up.

A lot of people. He’s been on ESPN, especially after he torched Tennessee. He’s destroyed all of the workouts and put on shows versus players projected to go at the top of the draft and has potentially elevated himself to a first round pick. I dont know where you live, but people certainly do follow Temple basketball.

haha nerds!!! jk dont kill me…

anyways back to tattoos…

Mike Wieters? I think he’s from LA. (SS?)

edit: Mike sounds wrong

Matt Wieters. Catcher. South Carolina.

Matt. He’s a catcher. I have no idea where he’s from.

And back to Temple basketball. I didn’t know all this. I just saw him on CSN the night they made the tourney. I’m from up in the Lehigh Valley, so TU basketball isn’t too huge. Most people around here are on the Nova bandwagon (not including myself. Go Cuse). The only person I know that’s a Temple fan is my sister’s boyfriend, and he only follows Temple because his dad used to teach there
