TAU Question

I updated the grade for my winter class a week ago and just today I switched the classes I “planned” to take in the spring to “In Progress.” On the admission’s main page, under the TAU application, it now says: “submitted on 2/23/15.” I made the deadline before Jan 31, but I’m just wondering if admissions would not see my original submission date and mistake the most current submission as the first time I updated?

Also, would I need to message each uc I applied to about the grade I received in the winter course? The class was just a general philosophy course that is not a pre req, and prior to this course I had already finish my IGETC requirement.

Don’t worry, the UCs will see that you submitted your initial TAU. I had this “issue” when I applied and it was fine. You don’t need to message the UCs about your new winter course grade, that’s what the TAU is for.

I believe you should also contact the UC’s individually to be safe (in addition to TAU). For UCLA, they have this website for you to notify them: https://www.admissions.ucla.edu/ContactForm/Applicant.aspx . For all the other UC’s, I think you can update or notify them in each of their portals.

if you really want them to see the grade send to each UC. But if its not really doing anything to your GPA, but is rather just neutral, it’s not a big deal. In other words, if it’s an A send it.
