<p>They were actually already due for priority decision to get your financial aid package with your acceptance/rejection letter. I assume the May 2 deadline would be for those admits forgot to send in their forms by the deadline.</p>

<p>are you talking about the collegeboard's idoc i think its called? it says its due May 1st and that its for verification so if you get in and attend, send it by the date, otherwise dont worry</p>

<p>Well it says, as soon as possible. I suppose it really doesn't matter in the end, but your financial aid package won't be finalized until they're able to reconcile your FAFSA and CSS with your returns. So basically the package you receive if your admitted may not be the one that you get in the end.</p>
