I am going into accounting but I am interested in going to law school, so tax law becomes a possibility. But I have not heard much about this type of law, so does anyone have any recommendation as to why tax law is better/worse than other types of law? And if tax law is no good, any advice on what kind of law might be worth looking at for accounting majors?

The positive is that there will almost always be a demand for tax lawyers. You also have a somewhat specialized skill set ( a CPA and JD are needed to be tax lawyer at certain firms).

Tax law sounds good to me. I always have clients looking for tax lawyers. You may need to get your LL.M thought if you want the top firms.
