Crap - I don't know if my parents sent their 2007 tax returns yet - will that affect admissions decisions?

no it won't. they don't even know whether or not you're asking for financial aid.

Oh, good. i was panicking, yet again

Nope, its need-blind admissions. So they won't be able to offer you a financial aid package, but I don't think it will affect whether or not you'll get in.

No worries! :)

^ just clarifying, they won't be able to offer one with your SCEA but you will still get one if you send in your forms later right?

Yeah, sorry to make it sound like you'd have to pay the sticker price. If you send in your info later on, they'd be able to give you some money.

Imagine, a full $50k a year. The horror! =o

Lol, 50k a year?

CC here I come.

and I mean the other CC. xD

Yeah, if you haven't sent your returns the only thing that happens is that you don't get an estimated financial aid package with your decision (should you be accepted). You'd get one either later or an official one later in the spring.

Would the package be reduced b/c i sent it later?

I'm not absolutely sure, obviously (who is?), but since Yale is need-blind and has more than enough funds for everyone, I doubt that the timing of your forms will affect the amount awarded to you...it'll just be a matter of getting your estimate sooner/later and being able to bargain for a better deal, if needed.
