I was a bit of a late bloomer in high school academically speaking and made rather poor grades during my first year and a half. I began to build my GPA up as much as I could since then, but it still wasn’t enough to get me to where I needed for the two colleges I want: FSU or UF. Right now, the only two schools I were accepted to were UNF and UWF. I’ve completely ruled out UWF and was all set up to head to UNF until I began doing a little research on the TCC to FSU program. As of now, I am torn and it seems like it would be the better choice, academically, because it would greatly increase my chances of getting into FSU and possibly UF because I have heard that students transferring from community colleges get priority over those from other four-year schools. In short, I am looking for opinions on what to do.

I attended TCC and I’m now transferring to FSU. I recommend this option personally. It helps you to get into the school you want but also makes the transition easier and a lot less expensive.

You can go to any CC in Florida and have a decent chance of transferring to UF/FSU.
