TCNJ 7-year Program Interview Advice??

I have an interview next week for the TCNJ 7-year program. There is supposed to be 2 interviews, one in TCNJ and one in UMDNJ. I am having the 1st interview, which is in TCNJ. Has anyone before been interviewed at TCNJ for the program? Does anyone have any advice for me?

Thanks

when did u turn in ur app? how much time did u have to wait b/w turning in ur app and getting an interview call?

My daughter had an interview couple of years back at TCNJ. The interview was at 1:30 PM. It was lengthy, probably go over your interest in Biology, EC’s. Then the professor showed the Biology Department, Labs and explained in detail the department. We left by 4:30 PM. It was alengthy interview process. Basically show your interest in Biological Sciences and Academic Medicine.

I just had the interview today and I think that it went pretty well. We talked about my EC’s and interest in medicine and the sciences. The interviewer was laid-back and it was like a conversation about yourself. It was interesting and I got to look at electron microscopes in the labs.

marky - when did u apply and when did u get the email?

I applied like at the end of October and my application was looked at for the program at mid-November. I got a call for an interview at the beginning of December. Make sure you meet the minimum requirements for the program, which means top 1% of your class and combined SAT math and critical reading score of at least 1450 and has finished chemistry, biology, and physics in high school. You must meet them or you will not be considered.
Good luck!

I just wanted to know where I could find info strictly about the TCNJ 7-yr med program

the only info I could find was the FAQs, which was on their site
but this didnt say much…i have my interview this wednesday, and i kinda need to cram some info specifically about the program…i already have info for the undergrad aspect

Don’t worry. You can ask questions during the interview. It’s not like they are going to question you about the program itself. The interview is all about you, your academics, your characters, your extracurriculars, and why you want to be a doctor. Just practice articulating your answers and prepare for the interview.
Good luck!

thnx same to u!

did anyone else get an interview call?
