Well… didn’t make to first round for the Bonner Scholarship ?.
Will definitely try again.
my D received her acceptance today for nursing!
@debbdowner Congrats to your D!
How do we see her financial aid letter? where is that posted? Do they send an email with instructions on how to set up a PAWS account?/ Thanks all!
Waitlisted for the nursing program. Assuming the odds of getting accepted from the waitlist are not likely, right?
Besides the fact that they don’t let you know until May 1st or after…
Congrats @debbdowner ! My D also waitlisted for nursing, @GoBlue3105 . Looks like we’re heading to Montclair. Good luck, everyone!
@sharpmom829 Thanks and good luck! My daughter got waitlisted at Montclair, which she really loved! Waiting to see financial aid info for TCNJ before she decides.
It feels like I’m the only one still waiting for a decision… Only a few more hours til I know where I’m going to college for sure! I will be super excited no matter what.
Are ALL decisions coming out today?
@ktaveras468 yes I think so! good luck!
Waitlisted to IMM (Interactive Multimedia). Congratulations everyone.
My son was wait listed to TCNJ with SAT=1540, subject test 780(biology/math/chemistry), gpa=4.2 weighted and some EC. very disappointed considering his stats, we thought with his stats TCNJ was a sure thing.
@futuredocml I’m sorry for your son, his stats are amazing. Did he apply to Rutgers also?
@3sonsmom yes he was accepted to Rutgers along with Stevens Institute of Technology and University of Richmond but wait listed to Case Western Reserve. no merit scholarships from all the accepted schools.
@futuredocml Was he applying for biology? Some majors are very popular for the premed set and are very competitive.
@NJMOM2023 fingers crossed… you never know!! Again, I have to stress what an ordeal this entire process is. Now trying to figure how to pay for it is the next step…?
@futuredocml I am also surprised Rutgers no merit with his scores? My sons applied last year to RU but I know they were early applicants (not sure if that matters). All the best!
@Loreli173 Thank you, fingers are crossed but proactively moved on to applying to a whole new set of colleges taking apps. Didn’t apply to many, all didn’t pan out.
@futuredocml Wow I am honestly shocked with his stats he did not get in AND get merit at most of the schools you mentioned. Have you inquired at the admissions departments of the schools he was accepted to? Did he apply very late, or was something missing from his applications? I don’t get it! That being said Rutgers, Stevens and Richmond are all great schools, no bad options there!
TCNJ can be a very rough admit for some programs. Last year I remember some stellar students were rejected for computer science. Biology is notorious. I suspect finance is rough, too.
