@toast18 @MACmiracle I’m not sure about the engineering school, but my son is an education major at Rowan. It seems to be a small community on its own. He’s only done 1 semester, but had a couple of his core classes first semester and met several education majors that he will have more classes with this semester. He has 2 classes this coming semester with the same professors he had last semester. We were just looking through the course catalog last night for a last minute schedule change, and none of the classes allowed more than 25 students. I’m sure there are classes with more, but he had several classes last semester with only 10 or 11 kids. It has been kind of the best of both worlds for us - big enough that he has lots of stuff to do, but classes small enough to give him the attention he needs in the class. We are full pay, but we’ve been very happy with our choice!
@NJWrestlingmom Thank you for the input! Rowan is really our most likely choice (it was TCNJ until we did a 2nd Rowan open house and Engineering Open House in October) It became his top choice after that. The engineering students who spoke were so articulate and passionate about the program, and he loved the new dorms and all of the shops on Rowan Boulevard. The scholarship was really the icing on the cake. Always glad to hear about students who chose Rowan and love it!
