Hey, when TCNJ says it sends out its ED decisions on December 15, do they really mean on that day, because I am waiting for their decision and it's driving me CRAZY lol! Should I stop checking their site everyday and wait for the date as previously mentioned above? If I do get accepted, will they tell me on the PAWS system, or will they send me a letter, or both?
-Thanks

I could be wrong but I applied to TCNJ as well and I believe that date is when you should have your answer by. Its more like a range date than a beginnig or a cutoff. When it gets close to December you should expect and answer. I’m not gonna tell you it’s futile to keep checking your status daily (because I check mine…multiple times a day) bur I will say that you can get an admissiobs decision weeks before that December date. It really just gives people a date when everyone can expect an answer.

As far as notification I know you get the letter and Im almost certain it appears on your paws account In which order you’ll be notified. I don’t know.

What do you guys mean by checking? did you guys get PAWS id and stuff? because I applied few days ago and didn’t get anything like that… the email i received said something about sending the PAWS id within 4-6 weeks…

hey crysta92,
yeah, you’ll be fine. It does take a few weeks for them to send you your I.D. via the mail and through an email I believe.

Thanks ephenst. It’s driving me crazy!

Do you guys think they’ll start rolling the regular decisions after Dec. 15?
I applied in October and I’m hating this wait.

I don’t think they start sending admissions until after the due dates for regular admissions.

Fearman,
When all you guys were trying to get a tell that you had been accepted ED by noting that you had access to places that only admitted students did, were you able to determine whether any of it meant anything or did you just have to wait? I applied RD and I can’t believe they let everybody who applies have access to all that planning info unless you’re going to be admitted. Do you think its a hint someone told the computer people"put her on the list she’s in"? Or am I just hyper and it means nothing? THanks, you’re so experienced>

@ kendallandkaylan

I’m pretty sure that I heard before that everyone has this information regardless of their admission decision.

Yeah, everyone had that.

Just received an email that my application is headed for “second review” They say its not as bad as the wait list but it sure sounds the same. Anyone have this happen to them before they were accepted? Thanks. So sad.

i applied RD and got an acceptance today. Strange considering i thought RD came out mid-march.

I also applied RD and I got my acceptance today. Out of curiosity, collegegirl44, what was your SAT score? I wonder if TCNJ is courting the higher-scoring students.

i received my acceptance today too. but i applied in october, and the deadline for regular decision was in january. so im thinking they notified the people that applied the earliest. i might be wrong though.

Daughter got in. Nothing in mail but we found out by logging in to her account. Nothing listed in Financial Aid section. Did people who got in also get financial aid info?

i got a…

Hope that helps, even though i dont want to go there. ha

I just checked TPR’s website, and it says that TCNJ has rolling admissions. I guess high scorers are not special, after all. :(
